1486 Market – Hound Hauz

The 1486 Market features a wide array of local vendors offering canned goods, homemade breads and deserts, flavorful spices, farm-fresh eggs, grass-fed meats, golden honey, jelly, handmade jewelry, signs, clothing, hats, scarves, home decor, toys, pet-friendly treats, and so much more!

Hound Hauz will be selling ice cold beverages including beer, wine, soft drinks, tea, and water. A food truck will be on site.

Select the date you're interested in joining the market. *There is no guarantee you will get these dates if another Vendor has already requested and paid for a booth for that date. February - June is crawfish season.

Detailed description of products. (We will do our best to prevent multiple Vendors from selling the same items.)

Vendor Regulations and Policies

The Market is a rain or shine event. If there are severe weather alerts and a possibility that the Market may be cancelled, we will update our FB page. If a cancellation occurs due to weather, vendors will receive a credit for the next event, no refunds will be given.
1486 Market - Hours are Noon-5pm during crawfish season. Setup may begin at 10:30am. The market opens promptly at Noon. Breakdown begins at 5pm.
Vendor spots are assigned. Food Vendors will be grouped together.
If a Vendor shows up after the market begins, we cannot guarantee a space.
Vendor is responsible for their own transactions, sales tax and personal cash needs.
Vendor is responsible for obtaining appropriate permits as required by Montgomery County.
Vendor must provide everything needed for the sale of your products including a tent, weights, tables and chairs.
Vendor shall be considerate of other vendors, and all patrons of Hound Hauz.
Vendor is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of their booth.
Vendor hereby grants Cindy Hitchcock, Hound Hauz, and 1486 Market permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of Vendor and their products on each of their social medial, publications, promotional flyers, marketing materials, or for any other similar purpose without compensation or permission from Vendor.
PICTURES OF YOUR PRODUCTS - After you've submitted this application, please email 3-5 pictures of your products to Info@HoundHauz.com. You will receive an email letting you know if you have been approved to sell at the market you've selected.

By signing below, I certify that I have read this document in its entirety, understand and agree to abide by all regulations and policies listed above. I understand that if I should fail to comply with these specified guidelines, my participation in the 1486 Market may be terminated. It is further understood and agreed that Hound Hauz, 1486 Market, Cindy Hitchcock and employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for lost or misplaced items, property damage, injury or death related to (1) my participation in the 1486 Market, (2) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any Release, or (3) the condition of the premises where these activities occur.
