1486 Market – Hound Hauz

Our market is growing into a spot where the community can gather, shop and hang out with their family and furry friends. We feature a wide array of local vendors offering fresh produce, homemade breads and deserts, flavorful spices, farm-fresh eggs, grass-fed meats, golden honey, handmade jewelry, pet-friendly treats, and so much more!

This event is more than just a market; it’s a gathering place for our community. Whether you’re a foodie, a pet lover, or just looking for a fun Sunday outing, there’s something here for everyone. All members of the family are welcome including well-behaved, leashed dogs.

Hound Hauz will be selling ice cold beverages including beer, wine, soft drinks, tea, and water. A food truck will be on site.

Markets are held the 2nd and 4th Sunday every month. Select the dates you are interested in. *There is no guarantee you will get these dates if another Vendor has already requested and paid for a booth for that date.

$25 – 10x10 Vendor Open Air Booth (June-August)
$30 – 10x10 Vendor Open Air Booth (Beginning 9/1/24)
NOTE: We do not have electricity available for Vendor Booths.

VENDOR REGULATIONS AND POLICIES
The Market is a rain or shine event, held the 2^nd and 4^thSunday, of every month.
11am-3pm: June-August
11am-4pm: September-May

If there are severe weather alerts and a possibility that the Market may be cancelled, we will update our FB page. If a cancellation occurs due to weather, vendors will receive a credit for the next event, no refunds will be given.
Setup may begin at 9:30am. The market opens promptly at 11:00am.
Vendor spots are assigned. Food Vendors will be grouped together.
If a Vendor shows up after 10:30am, we cannot guarantee a space.
Vendor is responsible for their own transactions, sales tax and personal cash needs.
Vendor is responsible for obtaining appropriate permits as required by Montgomery County.
Vendor must provide everything needed for the sale of your products including a tent, weights, tables and chairs.
Vendor shall be considerate of other vendors, and all patrons of Hound Hauz.
Vendor is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of their booth.
Vendor hereby grants Cindy Hitchcock, Hound Hauz, and 1486 Market permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of Vendor and their products on each of their social medial, publications, promotional flyers, marketing materials, or for any other similar purpose without compensation or permission from Vendor.

By signing below, I certify that I have read this document in its entirety, understand and agree to abide by all regulations and policies listed above. I understand that if I should fail to comply with these specified guidelines, my participation in the 1486 Market may be terminated. It is further understood and agreed that Hound Hauz, 1486 Market, Cindy Hitchcock and employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for lost or misplaced items, property damage, injury or death related to (1) my participation in the 1486 Market, (2) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any Release, or (3) the condition of the premises where these activities occur.
